Here's something every more crazy....

There is not exactly a long waiting list for reporters asking for softball access.

Clemson was probably the most popular, but here's the other reporter types I met at the different venues:

Kennesaw State: no one
Georgia Tech: Owner of Round Third Softball Website
NC State: reporters from student newspaper and a Wolfpack fan twitter account
Louisville: no other reporters, just a wonderful SID
UVA: the Charlottesville newspaper

My point is there is very limited interest by media types. Smart SIDs would go out of their way to get coverage of their sport, but apparently not Duke.
